About the studio

Cardinal Lake Pottery wares are all handmade and each piece varies slightly. For purchases with multiples of the same item, there will be slight differences. 

Cardinal Lake Pottery is intended for every day use. Though they are dishwasher, oven and microwave safe, hand washing and handling with care will extend the life of your ceramics. Use caution as stoneware will absorb heat during microwave use. Stoneware may scratch surfaces if dragged.

In a production studio, the process of making one batch of mugs from start to finish generally takes at least two weeks. This is because of all of the different periods of drying that are needed, plus two separate kiln firings that can take 30 hrs each. Thank you for your patience...it will be worth the wait!
